RECENT DEATHS
Paul Tyler - Paul passed away at the end of December, 2024 after a long battle with illness which he fought bravely. Paul was a dedicated helper with SOLL for many years.
Dave Farrow writes: "Paul was quite simply the wittiest, funniest and most amusing person I have ever met and I am sure ever will. I deeply appreciated his no nonsense, wise and dependable support and assistance which got things done for the Pilgrimage without dramas. A connoisseur of the good life - yet searing of pretence; Paul was his own man. He fought and braved a very long battle with cancers. He was solid in his faith. Yet it comes back to his humour: droll and quick-witted. To listen to Paul in full flow was a joy and an utter privilege to be part of his audience. Thank you, and God Bless you, Paul"
Eternal Rest grant unto him, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he Rest in Peace.
Paul Crossey - Paul passed away in April. He worked for many years as a Helper with the Society and was an enthusiastic member of the choir. For many years, Paul was a courier with Tangney Tours.
Eternal Rest grant unto him, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he Rest in Peace.
Peter Butler - it is with sadness that we have to advise the passing of Peter Butler, a member of the Lourdes 2000 Group and the Massabielle Group Keighley and a stalwart of Our Lady of Lourdes, Haworth.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
Mary Daws - it is with sadness that we have to report the passing of Mary Daws on 29th July, 2021. Mary was a long-serving handmaid and latterly came on pilgrimage as an assisted pilgrim.
Ray Harrison - it is with deepest sadness that we have to tell you that our Ray, friend to all, had a heart attack and has gone to God on 5th April, 2021. Ray devoted his life to Our Lady and to our Society where he has been Office Manager since November 1989.

tGillian Blathwayt, Mark's mother, died on March 22nd. "Gillie" worked as a Pilgrimage Handmaid and came in recent years as a Sick Pilgrim.
Joan Williams died on 4th February in University College Hospital at the age of 93. Joan, a parishioner of St. James', Spanish Place, was a Handmaid for over 25 years and a staunch supporter of the Society and its Annual Pilgrimage.
We commend the souls of the following Society FRIENDS
